Rock Distribution borrows 250,000 euros for business development :: Dienas Bizness

For further business development and ensuring business continuity Luminor banka has granted financing of 250 thousand euros to a distributor of musical instruments and professional sound, light and stage equipment in Latvia and abroad – SIA Rock Distribution.

With the financing granted by the bank SIA Rock Distribution intends to continue the business development started during the pandemic. Last year, the company increased its turnover by 22%, successfully reorienting its operations, as well as providing new services – the sale of professional sound equipment and musical instruments to retail store chains in Latvia, such as 220.lv and RD Electronics.

This year SIA Rock Distribution will implement several large-scale projects, for example, delivery and installation of equipment for Riga Stradiņš University, Sēja County Culture House, Emīls Dārziņš Music High School and the New Riga Theater.

At the same time SIA Rock Distribution is the official representative of many professional audio equipment brands in the Baltic States and in recent years has expanded its business beyond the Baltics – in Poland and the Scandinavian countries.

With the allocated funding, we will be able to continue the successfully started development course both in Latvia and abroad, in order to ensure not only the most advantageous service costs, but also the immediate availability of innovative and high-quality products and solutions, ”says Edijs Rudzis, Rock Distribution Chairman of the Board.

“Despite the challenges, trade and assembly restrictions during the pandemic, which also directly affected part of SIA Rock Distribution customers, the company is an excellent example of how, by adapting to the circumstances, it is possible to grow its turnover and continue to improve the business even in difficult conditions, ”says Ilze Zoltnere, Luminor Head of Corporate Department.

SIA Rock Distribution started its operations in 2008. The company is mainly engaged in the distribution of musical instruments and professional sound equipment in Latvia and abroad.
