A robbery was perpetrated during the weekend in a grocery store in the Petit-Ry district, in Ottignies. Two people armed with a handgun and a spray burst into the store located along avenue de la Résistance around 5 p.m. on Saturday. One of the thugs asked to be handed over the contents of the box, threatening the shopkeeper with a revolver. Busy cleaning the room, the manager’s husband then intervened. He was sprayed with tear gas in the face and was transported to the Saint-Pierre clinic.
The suspects fled, without taking anything, in the direction of Ottignies station.
