(ats) The Dutchman, who announced his retirement at 36 last summer after ten years at Bayern Munich, has returned to his training club.
He’s already back in training. Robben said at a press conference, “I feel great. I hope to come back to where I can still be useful and it’s still on the ground.”
It was near Groningen, which finished the last championship in 9th place, that Robben started his career in 1996. He played for two years in the first team before leaving for Eindhoven. Before joining Bayern Munich, he also wore the jersey of Chelsea and Real Madrid.
