RMI increases warning to orange code for all of Flanders …

The sting is in the tail: after a mediocre July, the 31st probably closes the month as the hottest day of the year. With temperatures up to 37 degrees, it gets tropical warm today. The RMI announced code orange on Friday afternoon for the whole of Flanders, Walloon Brabant and Hainaut. Only the coast and the Ardennes are given code yellow. And the day record from 1943 has already been broken.

At 13 o’clock it was already 32.4 degrees in Uccle. This broke the daily record of 31.7 degrees from 1943. That reported weatherman David Dehenauw on Twitter.
