On Thursday, there were 9,648 corona infections and on Wednesday 8,530.
294 new infections were reported in the municipality of Amsterdam on Saturday. On Friday there were 420.
Hospitals
The number of corona patients in Dutch hospitals has decreased. A total of 2514 patients with Covid-19 have now been admitted, 99 fewer than on Thursday, reports the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS).
Of these people, 816 are in intensive care, 21 fewer than the previous day (837). That is the largest decrease since mid-March. In the nursing wards, the number of corona patients decreased by 78 to 1,698.
Deaths
The number of reports of deaths from corona has increased by 22 in the past 24 hours, compared to 14 the day before. These figures are sometimes passed on with some delay.
