Riga St. A charity concert marathon Art Against War / Day will take place in St. Paul’s Church

Organists Aivars Kalējs, Kristīne Adamaite, Aigars Reinis, Ilona Birģele, Larisa Carjkova and Simona Sunepa will take part in the action, who will be joined by several artists from the Latvian National Opera and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra. The concert will feature violinists Paula Šūmane and Gidons Grīnbergs, sopranoes Monta Martinsone and Jūlija Vasiljeva, baritone Rihards Millers, saxophonist Aigars Raumanis, guitarist Armands Alksnis, cellist Irina Vilegžaņina, pianists Roksana Tarvide and Kaspars.

The concert will feature a variety of music from baroque to contemporary works. Compositions by Latvian composers Lūcija Garūta, Pēteris Vasks, Rihards Dubras, Aivars Kalējs, Uģis Prauliņš and Armands Alkšnis will be performed. For the first time, the famous Ukrainian composer Miroslav Skorika will be performed in the arrangement of organ and violin. Melody.
