The Latvian team went to the first trip of the season with 25 hockey players, among whom three are goalkeepers, eight play in the position of a defender, but the other 14 are attackers.

The striker Deniss Fyodorov did not go out with the team due to illness, but Nikita Sažko stayed in Riga to continue training. Forward Jānis Švanenbergs must skip the first outing due to the current Russian entry rules. The attacker joined the team later, but the Russian side had to submit the entry list ten days before entering the country.

Goalkeeper Bruno Brūveris, defender Ernests Ošenieks and forward Patrick Zabusovs are training together with the KHL team “Dinamo”.

Last season, the Riga team took the seventh place in the regular championship in the Western Conference, but in the first round of the playoffs, Yaroslavl’s “Loko” gave up 0-3.
