Ridwan Kamil Extends Bogor, Depok and Bekasi PSBB to 1 August

DEPOK, KOMPAS.com – Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil decided to extend large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in the Greater Bogor, Depok and Bekasi (Bodebek) regions.

Through West Java Governor Decree No. 443 / Kepm398-Hukham / 2020, the man who is familiarly called Emil set the extension of the Bodebek PSBB until August 1, 2020.

“Bogor Regent, Mayor of Bogor, Mayor of Depok, Mayor of Bekasi, and Regent of Bekasi implement PSBB proportionally on a micro scale according to the level of vigilance of each region,” Emil wrote in a regulation signed today, Saturday (18 / 7/2020).

“People who are domiciled or reside and / or carry out activities in the Bodebek area are required to comply with the provisions of PSBB application proportionally and consistently apply Covid-19 preventive health protocol,” he added.

The extension of the Bodebek PSBB was only a few days after the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also decided to extend the Transitional PSBB because the transmission of the corona virus had not abated yet.

Among the 5 Bodebek areas, Depok has recorded the highest total of Covid-19 positive case reports so far.

Until the latest data released today, a total of 971 positive cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Depok, 761 of which were cured and 37 others died.

In addition, 122 patients under surveillance (PDP) died without laboratory confirmation because PCR had not been tested.

At present, there are still 172 Covid-19 patients who are being treated in Depok; 441 people without symptoms (OTG) are being monitored, 404 people under monitoring (ODP) are still being monitored, and 179 PDP are still being monitored for possible infection with the corona virus.
