This Sunday, June 28, another year of Gay Pride Day was commemorated in many parts of the world, and although the famous Gay Parade that is usually held in New York and other parts of the planet had to be canceled due to the pandemic of coronavirus, members of the LGBTQ community did not miss the opportunity to wish good vibes on the date.
Ricky Martin, one of the most recognized Latino gay artists, took his social networks to send a message of congratulations for the special date, which this year commemorated the 50th anniversary of the first parade held in the Big Apple and 51 years of the so-called protest from Stonwell, which marked the beginning of the fierce fight for the rights of LGBTQ people.

The interpreter of “Vuelve” accompanied the message with a photograph in which he appeared kissing his husband, Jwan Yosef, but this time with masks, trying to show the importance of following the required protection standards to prevent the spread of COVID. -19.
The beautiful image enchanted those who think that “love is love regardless of gender status and orientation” and who respect and value gay people equally, but at the same time generated controversy among those who refuse to accept the same-sex love.
