The luxury homes of the rich in Jakarta recently went on sale. In fact, sales of these houses are mushrooming in the elite areas of Jakarta, from Pondok Indah to Menteng.
This phenomenon was agreed by the Chairman of the DPD of the Indonesian Real Estate Brokers Association (AREBI) DKI Jakarta, Clement Francis.
Clement assesses that currently many people are willing to sell luxury homes. In fact, today more people are willing to sell a house than buy it.
“Currently, many houses are willing to be sold, this number is now more than those who want to buy,” said Clement to detikcom, Tuesday (6/7/2021).
He was reluctant to hit flat what the trigger. However, in the midst of a pandemic, there are many more important needs that must be met, so the luxury house was finally sold.
“In the midst of this condition, there are more people who want to sell than buy. In terms of factors, we can’t judge, but in this condition there may be people who want to put money aside for other purposes,” said Clement.
He also suspects that there could be people whose businesses are underperforming in the midst of the pandemic and sell luxury homes to help survive.
“We don’t know what happened to people’s business, right in the midst of this pandemic, maybe he’s down, selling his house,” he said.
