Ricardo Quaresma went to the Instagram to mark a very special date for you. This Monday, April 8th, marks the International Gypsy Day.
The former football player decided not only to highlight the day, but also took the opportunity to leave a reflection, in the form of an outburst.
“On International Gypsy Day, I celebrate Gypsy culture and the deep meaning of ‘wearing the sweater’“, began by stating the footballer, in 2016 he was, with the Portugal team, champion of Europe.
“As a footballer, I wore many, but the one I value most is that of my community, a symbol of my roots and our fight for recognition and equality. ‘Wearing the jersey’ reflects commitment and passion, whether in football or in life, representing our unity and determination against prejudice“, continued.
