Forty-two French firefighters, mainly from Rhone, Ain, Haute-Savoie, Jura and Allier, will take part in the ceremonies, celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the September 11, 2002 attacks in New York.
This team of buddies, who privately made the decision to participate in this commemoration, remaining on Thursday and, given that this Friday, have created various visits, in distinct to their counterparts in New York.

In memory of the 343 firefighters who died on 11 September
They are to show up at a ceremony on Coney Island this Saturday, in the corporation of the New York firefighters and the new music of the firefighters’ Pipe’s Drums, in memory of the 343 firefighters who died on 9/11.
The future day, Sunday 11 September, they will share a breakfast with the 8 firefightersAnd avenue de New York, where by the FDNY Engine 54 Ladder 4 Battalion 9 is positioned. They will then depart this barracks in procession, to show up at a service at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, in the business of the people of the firefighters who died on 11 September, at the existence of the Consul of France, Mayor of New York, Eric Adams, and of the Commissioner of Fire Brigade Laura Kavanagh.
French firefighters, some of whom have by now attended former commemorations, have also scheduled some vacationer interludes, in advance of leaving for France on Tuesday.
