As of March 31, 2024, a change in the Law on Electronic Government will enter into force, according to which the possibility for administrative authorities to require individuals to submit certification documents to prove facts and circumstances that are available in registers and can be procured through official means will no longer be available. .
In this regard, changes are proposed to the regulation, according to which, when submitting an application-declaration for the payment of unreceived monetary compensation and/or assistance from the heirs of a deceased person, the requirement to present a certificate for heirs is no longer required. In this case, only the administrative body – the relevant territorial division of the National Social Security Institute – is obliged to procure the necessary information regarding the testator and the circle of his heirs.
With changes in the Social Security Code, the name of the allowance for raising a small child is changed, with the words “small child” being replaced by “child up to 2 years of age”.
With another change, a new right of the father (adoptive) to monetary compensation for raising a child up to 8 years of age is regulated. This type of compensation is not among those explicitly stated in the regulation, therefore it will include the monetary compensation for raising a child up to the age of 8 from the father (adoptive parent), the payment of which can still be requested from the heirs of a deceased beneficiary face.
With other changes, this time in the Ordinance on granting and paying guaranteed receivables in case of bankruptcy of the employer, the need to submit a number of documents also disappears. They should be gathered in official order within the framework of administrative proceedings, the Ministry of Social Affairs points out, which submits them for public discussion.
