At first glance, the Samsung Galaxy S21 and the Samsung Galaxy S22 look a lot alike. If you look closely, you’ll see that the Galaxy S22 is a bit more compact and has a smaller screen. There are also some differences to be discovered in the Plus and Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra are made entirely of glass and aluminum and feel more qualitative than the standard Galaxy S21. The S22, in turn, is slightly lighter than its predecessor. 167 grams versus 171 grams. The colors are also different. The S22 is available in green, black, white and pink while the S21 comes in gray, purple, white and grey.
While the Galaxy S21’s camera options were already great, Samsung has managed to surpass those capabilities with the new Samsung. A number of impressive functions have been added to the Galaxy S22. Think Nightography and AI Image Enchancer. It is striking that the S21 has a better telephoto lens than the S22 in terms of specifications. Namely 64 megapixels with 3x optical zoom. In comparison: with the S22 this is 10 megapixels with 3x optical zoom. With the wide-angle camera, this is the other way around. The S22 has a wide-angle camera with 50 megapixels and the S21 has ‘only’ 12 megapixels. On paper, the battery of the S21 is also slightly better than the battery of the Galaxy S22. Still, the battery life of the Galaxy S22 is a lot better. This is because it is more energy efficient.
