AMSTERDAM – Eighteen-year-old Devyne Rensch played a creditable match against Lille on Thursday evening. Ajax won 2-1 and qualified for the eighth finals of the Europa League. The right back is amazed by his stormy development: “I don’t realize how fast it went.”

“It was not our very best game, but we knew that the next round is the most important”, Rensch starts his conversation with Ajax TV. “After the 1-0 it was important to stop everything and to finish with eleven men. Unfortunately a penalty against, but fortunately Neres made the 2-1.”
