Retail Investors Open Up Angry in Playstore Until Share Sale on Bukalapak

Retail investors who bought shares in PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) seemed to be very disappointed with the movement of their shares. They showed their disappointment with various things, one of which was selling OPEN’s shares in the e-commerce site itself.

Quoting CNBC Indonesia, Tuesday (10/8/2021) there was a stall in the name of Putri Rahmawati from Bekasi, West Java that sold BUKA shares at a price of Rp. 1,000 per share. The price is certainly below the current market price of OPEN’s shares.

“It’s okay, the important cutloss can be sold, there are 7 million lots to try, sadly,” he said in the sales description on the Bukalapak.com page.

However, detikcom tried to find the lapak it turned out to be nowhere to be found.

As is known, buying and selling sites are not places to buy and sell shares. Stock transactions can only be done through a securities company.

Therefore, on the Bukalapak.com page it is stated that the sale of shares is a violation. “Pelapak committed a violation,” wrote the description on the page.

Retail investors also look angry and show it on Playstore. They gave a 1-star rating to the Bukalapak application and gave scathing comments regarding the performance of the OPEN stock today.

Today, the share of OPEN has dropped to the lower auto reject level (ARB) after on the first day of the IPO it has risen to a standstill.

According to data from RTI, today’s BUKA shares decreased by 75 points or decreased 6.76% to the level of Rp 1,035. The OPEN stock has fallen to ARB levels shortly since the morning’s opening.

Today, BUKA shares changed hands as many as 994.51 million shares with a transaction frequency of 67,464 times. The transaction value of BUKA shares today reached Rp 1.05 trillion.

Previously, on the first day of trading, OPEN experienced auto rejection (ARA) with an increase of 25%. The IDX Authority determines that shares with a price range of more than Rp. 200 to Rp. 5,000 will be auto-rejected if the share price increases by more than 25% or decreases by more than 10%.
