Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton did their fastest laps on the medium compound, while Max Verstappen recorded his fastest time on the soft tires. Both Ferraris fell heavily by not getting further than P10 and P12 on soft tires.
Verstappen’s teammate Alexander Albon took sixth place in the first hour and a half of training. he clocked his fastest time on the medium band.
