sport">Not the Slovenian Primoz Roglic of Jumbo-Visma but his young compatriot Tadej Pogacar will win the Tour de France. The leader of UAE Team Emirates more than made up for his 57 second gap in the general classification in the individual time trial.
sport">Pogacar won the 20th stage over 36 kilometers, of which the last 6 kilometers uphill towards La Planche des Belles Filles, in a time of 55.55. Roglic admitted almost 2 minutes. Second place went to Roglic’s teammate Tom Dumoulin, who was 1.21 slower than Pogacar.
Tom Dumoulin also lost out to an unleashed Tadej Pogacar.
