Restrictions Vigo: Vigo definitely drops to the medium-low level of restrictions | Radio Vigo

The city of Vigo will drop at 00.00 hours this Friday to the medium-low level of restrictions due to covid-19, as reported by the Department of Health after analyzing this Wednesday the result of the screenings carried out in the last hours.

Thus, this Tuesday this department clarified that the olive city would not go to the low-medium level of the restrictions of the pandemic caused by the covid-19 until reviewing these results, because there were “certain doubts”.

With the restrictions of medium low level up to 50% of the capacity can be occupied inside bars and restaurants and up to 75% on the terrace.

In this way, from 00.00 hours this Friday the municipalities of Cambados, Laza and Padrón will have the maximum level of restrictions, with limited mobility. For its part, there will be a high level of restrictions in the municipalities of Cangas, A Laracha, Lobios, Oleiros, Ribeira and Vilanova de Arousa.

On the other hand, medium level measures will be applied in Ames, Barbadás, Betanzos, Bueu, Carballeda de Valdeorras, Carral, Cerdedo-Cotobade, Chantada, Cualedro, Cuntis, Fisterra, Fornelos de Montes, Gondomar, Lalín, Marín, Melide, Moaña , Moraña, Noia, Ordes, A Pastoriza, Ponte Caldelas, Salceda de Caselas, Santiso, Silleda, Soutomaior, Toén, Tomiño and Valga.

The rest of the community councils, including the city of Vigo, will have the measures corresponding to the medium-low level of restrictions.

On the other hand, sources from the Galician Health Service (Sergas) have reported that the last two screenings carried out in the Sanitary Area of ​​Vigo took place in the Port of Vigo and in markets of the city, specifically in those of Teis, O Progreso, Calvario and Travesas.

Regarding screening in the markets, a total of 967 people participated and a positive was detected. In the one in the Port of Vigo, aimed at workers in the city’s fishing sector, 905 of the 1,200 mentioned participated –75% – and 21 positive cases were detected –which represents 2.3% of the total. of participants.

Sergas has also advanced that this week other screenings are taking place. Thus, this Wednesday one was held at the IES Castelao, this Thursday another will be held at the Coia 4 Shopping Center, on Friday at the Colexio Alba and on Saturday at the two Carrefour centers in Vigo (on Gran Vía and Traviesas).
