Quebec tightens confinement measures for seniors in residence.
The
government is asking that from today all the elderly in
the residences no longer go out except with supervision.
The
director of public health, Dr Horracio Arruda, recalls that the elderly do not
are no more at risk of transmitting the virus than younger children, but that they
are more likely to develop complications if infected.
Through
elsewhere, to help comply with various government measures, Maxi
and Provigo will allow seniors aged 70 and over and people tomorrow
with reduced mobility to do their grocery shopping in the morning at a time that will
