NIJMEGEN – False corona alarm: the Nijmegen restaurant Limus is open again. Last week owner Manuel Jansen closed the case preventively. An employee had a cold. But now the establishment on the Kerkstraat in Hees can be opened again.

The sick employee was tested for Covid-19. The results came on Wednesday: a cold, no corona. “We will be open again from today”, says a happy Manuel Jansen.

Jansen did not know last week whether the employee had the virus. What was certain: there had been no contact between the employee and the guests of the restaurant. But the Nijmegen catering man, aware of his social responsibility, did not want to take any risks.

“We take corona measures very seriously and to avoid unnecessary risks, we made this choice to protect our guests and our team.”
