Dakar, Dec 10 (APS) – Senegal is experiencing a ” new situation ” on the Covid-19 front which involves ” zero tolerance ” on the application of barrier measures, the Minister of Health and Social Action.
Faced with the increase in cases of contamination, we need “ zero tolerance in compliance with barrier measures, the community carrying of these measures, a national discipline on the systematic wearing of the mask ”, said in substance Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr .
He was speaking at the government press conference.
“We must take all measures to enforce the barrier measures”, as part of a “co-construction” strategy, said the Minister of Health.
Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr pleaded for the “general mobilization of the population” so that “each Senegalese gains the virus at his level”.
