Since its inception in 2010, developer Respawn Entertainment hasn’t taken it easy. The studio started with the Titanfall games and made waves last year with not only Apex Legends, but also Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. For Apex Legends, the developer is also working on additional content updates.
It doesn’t stop there for the studio. The website of Respawn Entertainment is namely a vacancy posted – which now appears to have been removed – for a software engineer. This is not a job for one of the developer’s existing games, but on a new game IP. According to the description, the software engineer will work ‘in a new team working on a brand new IP for the company’. Respawn Entertainment wants to develop technologies to ‘adventuring forever‘possible, with a focus on’ gameplay and feeling good ‘.
What else is Respawn Entertainment working on?
In addition to the new IP and Apex Legends, the developer also has a number of other ongoing projects. EA has indicated that it wants to make a new franchise of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, so Respawn will have started working on a second part in the series.
