LIESHOUT – Due to the heavy rainwater recently, residents at the edge of the forest in Lieshout are suffering from the water that is now starting to run towards their shed.
The fire brigade has been called in and is trying to pump the water away. The only problem is that if they let it flow into the ditch, the houses are at risk of flooding. An attempt is now being made to empty a ditch and then pump the water into it. Residents in this neighborhood are talking about how the municipality has been negligent in connection with the drainage of rainwater.
An installation that is supposed to pump out a sewer has now also broken down.
