In a house fire in a corner house on the Moreelselaan in Eindhoven, a person was injured in the night from Monday to Tuesday, a spokesperson for the fire brigade tells NU.nl. An explosion may have occurred.
Around 3.00 am the fire brigade received a report of a house fire. Within a short time the fire was brought under control with two fire trucks.
There may also have been an explosion. “The damage to the house is great,” a spokesperson told NU.nl. It is being investigated whether the explosion occurred prior to the fire or was caused by it.
Residents heard according to Broadcasting Brabant a loud bang. Some cars are also said to have been damaged. The rear facade was severely damaged in the fire.
It is not clear how serious the resident is. The person was taken to hospital by ambulance.
