Stewed chicken nuggets with potatoes, stir-fried meat with chili, stewed beans, braised fish… The family of Wang Yaling, a resident of Yanshou Town, Yanshou County, sat around a table with four dishes and one meal. “Eating here is better than eating at home.” Wang Yaling told reporters.

Wang Yaling said that her house was damaged, and her mother’s right foot was punctured by a nail in the water when she was packing her luggage. Fortunately, the medical staff at the resettlement site treated her mother in time, and the injury has eased.

According to statistics, as of August 12, a total of 239 dangerous situations occurred in various towns and towns in Yanshou County during the flood season, and 1,147 people from housing and construction, water affairs and other departments and townships were organized to participate in flood prevention and disaster relief.
