Cartagena added another 520 cases to the coronavirus infection count on Christmas Day since the pandemic began in March.
This was reported by the Ministry of Health this Friday, December 25. The new cases bring the total number to 41,578 cases.
In addition, in the last 24 hours, four deaths were reported from COVID-19, bringing the number of fatal cases to 734.
The deceased correspond to an 85-year-old woman (disease under study), a 68-year-old man (kidney disease and malnutrition), a 74-year-old woman (COPD) and a 60-year-old woman (cardiovascular disease and kidney disease).

In the rest of Bolívar, 56 new cases were announced, bringing the total number to 8,043.
Only one death was reported in Barranco de Loba. This is a 36-year-old woman with kidney disease.
With this death, the deaths in the department are 296.
