Several level crossings are also blocked
The Breisgau S-Bahn will be closed from June 6th to 10th due to routine work. In addition, a switch will be installed at Freiburg Central Station. A replacement rail service is set up for all rail travelers.
In order to keep the restrictions for passengers as low as possible, a rail replacement service (SEV) has been set up between Freiburg and Breisach. Since Gottenheim station is also not accessible for train traffic from the direction of Endingen, a bus service was also set up there, which includes Bötzingen station in the SEV between Breisach and Freiburg. The SWEG trains running between Endingen and Gottenheim / Freiburg on Sunday (June 7th, 2020) will also be replaced by buses in the Bötzingen-Gottenheim / Freiburg section.
The following level crossings are also blocked:
- Buchheimerstrasse (June 5 – June 7, 2020)
- Hugstetten station (05.06 – 07.06.2020)
- Forest kindergarten (June 5 – June 9, 2020)
- In the Wolfswinkel (06.06. -08.06.2020)
- In Christ (06.06. – 08.06.2020)
- Landwasser stop (06.06. – 09.06.2020)
- Königsbergerstrasse (June 8 – June 11, 2020)
At times, the level crossings in Gottenheim on “Bötzinger Straße”, in Wasenweiler on “Wirtschaftsweg” and on “Merdingerstraße” as well as in Ihringen on “Gündlingerstraße / Eisenbahnstraße” and on “Keltenweg / Am Krebsbach” are blocked.
The Breisgau S-Bahn is scheduled to run again on June 10th.
