repeatedly blood in the stool | Question to nutritionist Birgit Neumann

Question:

Dear Ms. Neumann,

my children have had blood in their stools almost since they were born. I have been to the doctor many times because of this and after blood and stool tests on my daughter as well as fleas, OmniBiotic and stool softeners, the consensus is that it is the hard stool and that it will grow together. With my son it seems to be the opposite. His stool is quite normal (not rock hard like my daughter) and as soon as it gets softer there is a little blood every now and then. He also regularly has a red anus and quite severe bloating. After an OmniBiotic10 regimen a year ago it was much better, but after a while it got worse again. Now we have repeated the cure, but this time it did not work. Today he had some blood in his stool again. This happens about once a month. I know for a fact that he doesn’t tolerate whole grain flakes (I feel the same way), so I avoid whole grains. I don’t have the impression that he minds milk, but he rarely gets it (only in food and in the form of cheese and yoghurt; cocoa is rare). I also avoid sure, but once a day he gets an apple (mostly Elstar) because he likes to eat it. I suspect he has very sensitive drme. After painkillers, especially ibuprofen, (I try to avoid as much as possible) it is particularly cold, even cough syrup seems to irritate his drums, after a while he gets diarrhea (I always liked giving bronchicum without sorbitol). I also went to the doctor, I should watch it and not worry as long as it keeps going away and it doesn’t work anymore. Since I myself have problems with bloating and hard stools (like my daughter), there is certainly a hereditary factor. But I find it hard to just wait and see. Is there anything you could recommend for my son? As I said, I suspect that the mucous membrane in his gut is very sensitive and certainly also constantly irritated. I would like to spare him a blood test, it was terrible for my daughter. My daughter (6) and my son (4) are both very active, bright and well developed. If I didn’t keep discovering this stupid blood, it wouldn’t occur to me that anything was wrong.

Thank you in advance for your help !!!
