Renault is launching the “Renault E-Tech Tour 2023” series of events in 6 major cities of the Baltic States. From September 21 to 23, it will visit Latvia. Visitors to the event will have a great opportunity to learn more about Renault’s 100% electric and hybrid models, as well as enjoy the ultimate driving pleasure.
The purpose of the event is to promote the popularity of electromobility. Renault, the pioneer and leader of the European electric car market, has more than ten years of experience in this field, proven by 10 billion kilometers driven by more than 400,000 electric cars sold.
In Latvia, the “Renault E-Tech Tour 2023” event will take place from September 21 to 23 at the Acropolis shopping center in Riga.
During the “Renault E-Tech Tour 2023” event, it will be possible to get acquainted with Renault’s latest range of electric models – Megane E-Tech electric and hybrid models Austral E-Tech full hybrid and Clio E-Tech full hybrid.
E-Tech full hybrid technology is protected by more than 150 patent applications. It draws on Renault’s rich experience in Formula 1, especially in the area of energy recovery. The technology provides greater dynamics combined with greater energy efficiency.
The biggest attraction will be the opportunity to do test drives with Renault cars. Austral E-Tech and Clio E-Tech hybrid versions offer the possibility of driving in the city in electric mode, combining driving pleasure with lower fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
The presentation will be complemented by a model with a compact hatchback silhouette, crossover outlines, an expressive rear, a sporty, sloping roof line and 20” alloy wheels, which creates an unprecedented shape – this is the electric Megane E-Tech – the result of using the latest technologies. This electric car is equipped with a smart charging system, and in the future, thanks to vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, it will also be able to transfer part of the energy to the grid if necessary. This car is connected to the world and integrated into both the electric and digital ecosystem of users.
Electric cars can change our cities because their operation does not cause pollution and noise. For this effect to be felt, of course, time and a larger scale of use of such vehicles are needed, but the trend is already visible around the world. Renault is a pioneer and leader in the European electric car market, and the Renault ZOE is the most common electric car in Europe, making us an important part of this process.
