The Tik Tok star’s case is still reverberating in the Egyptian street, given the shocking confessions she made before the prosecution, the most prominent of which was her confession of having an intimate relationship with three young men in one night.

The story of the Tik Tok girl, known as “Renad Imad,” spread after she was arrested by the security services in June 2020.

In the Dokki area, after she left the opening ceremony of a café owned by the son of a famous popular singer, she was taken to the morals investigation.

The arrest of the Tik Tok girl came after officers of the General Administration of Morality Investigations received information that a girl named “M. “L” and her name is “Renad”, created a page on the Tik Tok application with the intention of committing advertising

She wanted to engage in prostitution and incite others to commit such incidents, in violation of principles and values. The accused was immediately monitored and followed up, and the information received was proven to be correct. Accordingly, she was arrested inside a cafe in Dokki, and the prosecution was notified.

The Public Prosecution in Dokki decided at the time to detain the accused, Renad Emad, for 4 days pending investigation, on charges of announcing herself on social media sites.

Social media platform “Tik Tok” and providing indecent content and videos that include pornographic materials for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

The case papers stated that the accused, Renad, exploited her younger sister in private videos, and the Public Prosecution accused her of committing crimes that violated family values ​​and principles in society.

And creating accounts on the international information network, in addition to another accusation related to the crime of human trafficking by exploiting her younger sister in her videos to achieve high viewing rates.

The accused gave her statements during the investigations that took place with her that the proceeds from the videos and photos were free clothes and accessories, after advertising goods for commercial companies through the “Story” feature.

On her social media accounts, and at the conclusion of the investigations, the Public Prosecution ordered her imprisonment, and she remained imprisoned for several months, before she was released pending the case.

The Public Prosecution referred the accused to criminal trial before the Economic Court, which held 5 trial sessions, from which the accused was absent, while her lawyer was present, and a conviction was issued to imprisonment for a period of 3 years.

The accused appealed the ruling before the Economic Misdemeanor Court of Appeal, where the court considered it in several sessions, including today’s session, which was decided to be postponed.

Last June, the Economic Court ruled, in its presence, to punish Renad Emad, with imprisonment for a period of 3 years and a fine of 100,000 pounds, for convicting her of attacking the values ​​of society.

By creating and broadcasting content that is contrary to public morals, and advocating for herself in an indecent manner, and after her arrest, the Public Prosecution released her, so she was referred for criminal trial “released,” until the appealed ruling was issued against her.

The court ruled to accept the appeal submitted by the Tik Tok girl, Renad Emad, against her 3-year imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 pounds, and to cancel the prison sentence.
