The singer and actor Jimmy Buffett is dead. His biggest hit was “Margaritaville”. He also appeared several times in the series “Hawaii Five-0” as well as in “Blue Bloods” and the film “Jurassic World”.
Jimmy Buffett died on September 1st at the age of 76. An official cause of death was not given. According to TMZ, skin cancer was said to be the cause. The musician and actor was admitted to a hospital in Boston in May. Buffett’s biggest hit in his illustrious stage career was “Margaritaville,” a song that led to several restaurant openings.
During his lifetime he released 29 studio albums, 14 live albums, nine compilation albums and eight special albums.
