The deliverance for the Blues who achieve the Grand Slam, 12 years after Thierry Dusautoir and his family. Thanks to its victory over England (25-13), Saturday March 19, the XV of France won the Six Nations Tournament. Tests by Gaël Fickou, François Cros and Antoine Dupont made the difference.

While the Blues lead 3-0 thanks to a penalty scored by Melvyn Jaminet, Gaël Fickou comes to concretize the domination of the Blues. After several fixing sequences, the Racing 92 player is found by Romain Ntamack on the outside and marks his 12th try with the XV of France.

On the first blue foray into the English 22 meters, Gaël Fickou finds the opening on the outside after superb French bindings, Jaminet misses the transformation, 8-0!

Already decisive on the first try, Romain Ntamack still makes his talent speak just before half-time. The Toulousain offered himself a breakthrough in the defense of the XV de la Rose, before being stopped a few meters from the in-goal. In support, François Cros recovers the ball and flattens on the line. The third row scored his first try with the XV of France.

After a superb outside race from Romain Ntamack, it was François Cros who flattened and scored the second try for the Blues!  First international test for him, and transformation of Jaminet, 18-8 for the Blues at halftime!

Led 6-18 at the break, the English came back more conquering and finally found the fault in the French defense, which had been very solid until then. After a breakthrough in the axis, the XV of the Rose finds the shift on the wing to register a corner try and come back to only 5 points from the French.

On a full axis breakthrough from Marchant, Steward scored the first try of the XV de la Rose in this match.  Marcus Smith transforms, it's 18-13 for the Blues who see their gap shrink!

The English chained the incursions into the French camp but the Blues let the storm pass to start again. After several charges and crossings, Grégory Alldritt quickly gives the ball to Antoine Dupont. The latter resists a tackle before heading towards the line and scoring the third tricolor try. The Stade de France can exult.

After a good scrum from the Blues full axis, Penaud returns inside and the ball arrives at Antoine Dupont.  The blue captain beats the English defense and flattens!  Jaminet transforms facing the posts!  25-13 for the Blues, the Stade de France is starting to boil!
