BARCELONA – Petronas Yamaha SRT Team racer, Valentino Rossi, also commented on the incident of detached race clothes experienced Fabio Quartararo at the 2021 Catalunya MotoGP. Rossi only issued a brief comment calling the incident very strange.
As is known, Quartararo experienced an unusual condition when he was performing at the Catalunya Circuit, Spain, Sunday 6 June 2021 evening WIB. In the last three laps, the French racer was seen unzipping his racing suit.
Then, Quartararo was seen throwing off his breastplate. El Diablo -Quartararo’s nickname- finally continued the race with his racing clothes open at the chest.

This incident also had a big impact on Quartararo. His position immediately dropped from second place to being scattered backwards because he had to struggle with his racing clothes.

Quartararo’s misfortune continued after the race. Two were rewarded with a three-second penalty so that their position fell even further. He only sits sixth in the overall results of the 2021 Catalunya MotoGP.
For Rossi, the incident experienced by Quartararo looks quite strange. This is because the incident of the racing suit falling off in the middle of the race is certainly not something that often happens in racing.
