‘Red Alliance’ back in Denmark; Victory for the world center-left | Deshabhimani

Copenhagen
The center-left coalition led by current president Mette Frederiksen won the Danish elections. The five-party “Red Alliance” fought under the leadership of Mette, the leader of the Social Democrats. Jayam won 90 seats in the 179-member parliament. Denmark won 87 seats on the mainland and three seats each in the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

The main party, the Social Democrats, won 27.5 percent of the vote. The Blue Alliance, which includes conservative parties, won a total of 73 seats. There were a total of 43 lakh voters. Polls predict that the elections will go to the photo finish and that the Party of Moderates, formed three months ago under the leadership of former Prime Minister Lars Loki Rasmussen, will have a decisive influence on the formation of the government. Metta submitted his resignation to Queen Margaret as part of forming a new government.
