BARBATE (CÁDIZ), Nov 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Civil Guard has been acting since this Tuesday morning in the Cadiz municipalities of Barbate, Jerez de la Frontera and La Línea de la Concepción in an operation that is being carried out to dismantle a criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking by sea.
As reported by the Armed Institute in a note, on the occasion of the exploitation of the operation called Auris, the Cádiz Civil Guard Command, with the support of external investigation units, is conducting searches and arrests to bring the victims to justice. alleged members of a criminal organization dedicated to the introduction of hashish caches along the coasts of La Janda, in addition to engaging in the distribution of narcotics in all kinds of criminal modalities.
Likewise, the Civil Guard has made more than twenty arrests and searches that would be added to those carried out in different phases of the investigation.
However, and due to the number of arrests to be made and the dangerous nature of some of its members, tactical teams from the GAR Rapid Action Group have traveled to the area to reinforce the members of the Cádiz Civil Guard Command that They are deployed in the area.
The operation has the support of different Units of the Cádiz Command, and Occon-SUR, being supervised by the Head of the Mixed Court number 2 of Barbate and the Anti-Drug Prosecutor’s Office of Cádiz.
The members of this criminal organization are charged with alleged crimes of drug trafficking and belonging to a criminal organization, without ruling out others that are derived from what was carried out in the operation this Tuesday.
