A year ago to the day, the IFJ (Institute for young companies) announced a record number of business creations in 2019.
Reading the figures published this Friday for the year 2020 could lead one to believe for a moment that the covid-19 pandemic was only a mirage. With 46,842 companies created, a new level has been reached; never since the beginnings of the commercial register in 1883 have so many new entities appeared in Switzerland. Over one year, the increase is 5.3%.
