No one scored 5+2 straight in the Eurojackpot on Friday night. The first prize pool in the Eurojackpot has reached the ceiling of 120 million euros (current exchange rate on the day of the draw). This means that Tuesday’s first prize pool will be approx. NOK 1.35 billion.
When the first prize pot has reached the payment ceiling, the excess amount is transferred to the second prize pot, which is approx. NOK 210 million.
– Many million-dollar prizes
Although no one got 5+2 right, we still got a good portion of million prizes on Friday night.
Nine players had 5+1 straight and won NOK 27,009,870 each. Seven of the second prize winners are from Germany, one from the Netherlands and one from Spain.
17 players had 5+0 straight and each won their third prize NOK 1,517,750. Two of them are Norwegian, one is from Westland and the other from Østfold.
Man from Vestland:
The Swedish Eurojackpot millionaire from Vestland picked up the phone on the first try.
– I had just gone to bed, because I have to get up early for work tomorrow, but this is absolutely fantastic. It is absolutely enormous, says the man.
He says he will put the winnings into the savings account, and he expects that a few kroner will go towards a holiday trip.

– It depends. I get to set a double alarm on the phone, says the man.

Man in his 30s from Halden in Østfold:
We didn’t get hold of the man on the first try, but on the second we got hold of him.
– I saw you had called, so I had to go in and check my voucher. I’ve watched it a few times now, says the man, who was very pleased to win over NOK 1.5 million.
– I feel I have a little pulse now. I was very surprised, and I know I’m still a little shaky. There will probably be little sleep tonight, says the man.
He says he will put the money into the savings account. In addition, he wants to go on holiday.

The national additional premium on 1 million kroner went to a woman in her 50s from Ski in Akershus.

To win first prize in the Eurojackpot, you must have 5 correct numbers out of 50 possible, in addition to 2 correct star numbers out of 12 possible. This gives a total of approx. 140 million possible combinations per row, and the chance of winning is then approx. 1:140 million per row. For second prize, the chance of winning is approx. 1:7 million per row, while the national prize (NOK 1 million) is approx. 1:number of rows.
