The captain of Real Madrid Sergio Ramos may soon renew the contract with the club.
According to Marca, neither the club nor the player are in a hurry to make a decision. Ramos talks a lot with the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, and they are confident that the contract will be extended.
The defender considers Real Madrid his home and wants to continue playing for the club.
However, the parties still disagree on the issue of the term of the agreement – Real wants to sign a one-year contract, while the Ramos side wants to get a longer agreement.
The current contract of Ramos expires in the summer of 2021.
Ramos stands for Real Madrid since 2005. He spent 644 matches for the club, scored 94 goals and won 22 trophies with the team.
