WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA – Regarding his vice presidential candidate (cawapres) for the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres), Anies Baswedan said that he has pocketed these names.
This was conveyed by Anies Baswedan after attending an event titled “Anies Baswedan Volunteer National Gathering” at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday (21/5/2023).
Anies said, even though the name already existed, he did not give it at this time.
Then, he asked the public to be patient with this.
“Even if there is, I won’t tell you now. Anyway, the name is already in my pocket,” said Anies.
Apart from that, Anies also explained that until now he had not been able to announce the criteria for his cawapres figure.
“We’ll see, so there’s a surprise, right?” said Anies.
“If the criteria are given now, then there will be no more surprises,” continued Anies
Not paid volunteers

When he arrived, Anies Baswedan really appreciated the presence of thousands of volunteers who were present at Tennis Indoor Senayan.
Anies Baswedan said that the volunteers who attended were called by their heart, not because they were paid.
“Rupiah can bring people in, but rupiah cannot ignite enthusiasm, like the writing in this place (pointing towards the stands),” said Anies at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday (21/5/2023).
