The players of RCD Mallorca drew 0:0 with Real Sociedad San Sebastian in the first semi-final meeting of the Spanish Cup on Tuesday. Slovak goalkeeper Dominik Greif and defender Martin Valjent played the entire match for the home team.
Greif again got a chance in Mallorca’s goal in the cup duel and managed to keep a clean sheet. In the 59th minute, he did not collect after Brais Mendez’s shot, which he pushed in front of him, and also the subsequent great chance by Umar Sadiq from the goalpost. In the 71st minute, Sadiq scored another goal and a few moments later, the Slovakian goalkeeper also blocked Ander Barrenetxea’s shot from an angle.
The rematch in San Sebastian is scheduled for February 27. In the second semi-final of the Copa del Rey, Atletico Madrid and Athletico Bilbao will meet, the first match will be played on Wednesday in the Spanish capital.
