Razma wins the first round of the World Darts Championship

Razma beat Indian athlete Prekash Jeeva 3-1 in first round three sets.

In the first set, the first two legs were won by the Indian and the Latvian darts thrower won the next three.

The second set followed a similar scenario, but the Indian was superior in the last leg, leveling the score – 1-1.

Jiva also took the lead in the third set, making it 1-0 and 2-1, but Razma celebrated with a 3-2 win.

However, in the fourth set, Razma celebrated the success of three games in a row and also won the entire meeting with 3-1.

Razma is ranked 34th in the world, while Jiva is ranked 211th.

In round two on Thursday, Razma will meet “Flying Scotsman” Gary Anderson, 11th ranked in the world and 2015 and 2016 world champion.

The World Cup will take place at the “Alexandra Palace” in London and will end on January 3rd.

The total prize money for the 2022 World Cup is 2.5 million British pounds (2.865 million euros).

Razma earned £15,000 (€17,190) for winning the first round.

Razma made his PDC World Championship debut in 2019, stopping in the first round, in 2020 he made it through the first round, but lost in the first round last year.
