At the municipal council meeting in Herrischried, Mayor Christian Dröse informed about further loans: 225,000 euros were taken out for measures in the areas of water and sewage as well as the cemetery. This loan will not be drawn down until May 2023. One million euros is to be used for overall coverage in the broadband area, for which there are no low-interest loans. This loan with an interest rate of 2.2 percent and a term and fixed interest rate of 30 years has already been paid out. Of the interest authorization of 1.780 million euros, 95,000 euros are still outstanding. This should be left as a leeway, according to Mayor Drose.
Great expense
Small project, big effort: With a supplementary statute, the municipality of Herrischried wants to include an outdoor part of a property in the district of Rütte, on which the owner wants to build a single-family house, into the built-up district. Only a small statute is required for this, but the effort in terms of environmental report corresponds to that of a large development plan, said Georg Kunz (office Galaplan). An FFH hay meadow is particularly affected by the project, he pointed out. A similar compensation is therefore required, which is to be implemented on a property in the Großherrischwand district. The municipal council approved the draft statute and decided on public participation, the statute resolution is expected to be passed in July.
Reopening
In the joint meeting of the municipal councils of Herrischried, Rickenbach and Murg at the beginning of May, the update of the land use plan of the agreed administrative community (VVG) Bad Säckingen, Murg and Herrischried was presented (the BZ reported). In its meeting, the Herrischrieder municipal council decided to recommend to the VVG joint committee for the update of the land use plan that the area should be disclosed again and that public interest bodies should be involved.

The next municipal council meetings are scheduled for June 27, July 25, September 26, October 17, November 21 and December 12. The meeting on October 17 will be preceded by a joint meeting with the committees from Rickenbach and Görwihl on the subject of heat planning.

The kick-off event of the Waldshut district for the city cycling project will take place next Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. at the leisure center in Herrischried.
