Rašmane took 37th place in the Olympic shooting competition

Agate Rašmane took the 28th place in the 25m shooting qualification after the first day of the competition. The second part of the qualification was completed tonight, in which Rashman failed to improve his position.

In the fast shooting, Rašmane scored 95 points in the first series, but then a failure in the second series, in which one shot was only worth seven points and a total of 92 points were scored. In the third series, Rashman had 95 points again, but had to drop to 37th place in the overall standings.

44 athletes took part in this competition. Rašmane was six points short of the Top 30, the top twenty was 11 points away, while the final, which included the eight best shooters, was 15 points away.

The final competition is scheduled for today at 8:00. Bulgarian athlete Antoaneta Kostadinova won with 590 points, while the leader of the first day Zorana Arunoviča from Serbia was not at all in the final, retiring to the ninth place.

As a result, the Tokyo Olympics are over for Rashman. It should be reminded that the Olympic debutant Rašmane had previously started shooting from a distance of 10m, in which she won the 19th place.
