On Tuesday, the athletes held a qualifying competition in shooting, where Rašmane scored 94, 95 and 99 points in the series, which allowed him to take the sixth place with a total of 288 points earned.
On Wednesday, she earned 94, 95 and 98 points in three series, respectively, in the speed shooting qualification, which gave a total of 575 points and sixth place.
16 athletes started in the qualification, but only the best eight entered the final.
In the final, Rashmane earned ten points in the third round of shots in the first round, thus reaching the second or elimination round. In the best attempt, the Latvian athlete earned 20 points and won the fourth place.
The victory was celebrated with 32 points by housewife Chinki Jadava, who overtook her compatriot Rai Sarnobat. The second place winner also earned 32 points, but Jadava was better in terms of additional indicators. Bronze is another Indian Manu Bakera, who earned 28 points.
It has already been reported that on Monday Rašmane and Lauris Strautmanis took the sixth position in the mixed team discipline from ten meters.
On Saturday, Rašmane won the sixth place in the final in the shooting from ten meters in the individual discipline. Emīls Vasermanis remained in the men’s competition immediately behind the final group, who earned 576 points and ranked ninth. Strautmanis took 17th place among 26 athletes with 568 points in the qualification.
The World Cup stage was scheduled for April in Korea, but the competition has been postponed. At the turn of May and June, a European Championship will take place in Croatia, where two tickets to the Tokyo Olympics will be distributed at 25 and 50 meters, and another will be determined in a European shooter selection tournament.
Another place will be awarded to the highest ranked athlete in the world, and two places will be awarded by a special commission.
Rashmane is ranked 17th in the Olympic qualifying gun shooting in ten meters, but 29 athletes will take part in Tokyo. In the ranking of men, Strautmanis is in the 62nd position.
