Acting Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov said he had “radically different information” from that of the prosecutor’s office, which said it had found no evidence of illegally wiretapped politicians. According to him, the state prosecution worked in the service of the previous rulers.

The statement did not say whether there was wiretapping of citizens – something that the caretaker interior minister claims.
