Rapper Ye will not stand as a candidate for the 2024 American presidential election. The American artist’s lawyer has informed this to Rolling Stone.
“He will not run for office in 2024,” the lawyer said. A source closely involved with the Kanye 2020 Committee (Ye’s campaign team) confirms that the rapper has no intention of participating.
The rapper’s party is also not registered with the Federal Election Commission, an independent body that monitors election campaigns in the US.
In 2020, West participated in his own Birthday Party. Last year, the rapper said he was considering running for office again in 2024.
