Bashar Barakah Jackson, better known as Pop Smoke, was an aspiring American rapper and songwriter. On Wednesday morning, the 20-year-old was murdered in a robbery on his house, as «TMZ»Reports.
Several shots fired
At 4:30 a.m. two men broke into Pop Smoke’s house in the Hollywood Hills. The two would have worn hoodies and masks. The two would have fired several shots. They injured Pop Smoke. The two men then fled on foot. Pop Smoke was taken to a hospital in West Hollywood, where he was pronounced dead.
The two suspects have not yet been caught. It is unclear whether Pop Smoke knew the attackers.
Pop Smoke released an album in July 2019. One of the songs on the album, “Welcome to the Party”, went through the roof. It was regarded by many as the “song of the summer”.
