They notably got to know Nuri Talibov, who coached the unified amateur light heavyweight champion. The Russian had the chance to participate in the camp of his former boxer with the trio of Quebecers.
Ramsay made a gesture that illustrates the type of person he is. On Saturday, he decided to bring the experience of professional combat to Talibov from start to finish.
It was a first for the Russian. Despite his decades of amateur experience, he had never had this opportunity.
Talibov walked to the ring next to Ramsay. He was also in the ring during the presentation of the boxers. For him, it was an honor to be there.
Special belt
After the victory by K.-O. Beterbiev technique, the two men found themselves together in the locker room.
Ramsay presented him with a belt he had just received in the ring to thank him for his welcome and service at the National Training Center during his team’s stay.

Ramsay, Ouellet and Kulesza return home today with another fabulous experience in their luggage. Of course, they will do their mandatory quarantine. After, Ramsay and Ouellet will finalize the training camps of several boxers who have fights planned in the coming weeks.
