Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth and ‘Dalapati’ Vijay have clarified that they will not create controversy and compete with each other, and the fight between the fans of both has subsided. With the election approaching, there is a situation to open a new portal at any moment. The story of the crow and the hawk told by Rajinikanth at the audio launch of the movie ‘Jailor’ has sparked controversy. There have been interpretations that Vijay is the crow and Rajini is the hawk in the story. Rejecting all social media interpretations at the audio launch of ‘Lal Salaam’, Rajinikanth said that the publicity that he is in competition with Vijay is hurting.

“There is great sadness in the interpretations. Vijay is a child who grew up before my eyes. Vijay was 13 years old during the shooting of ‘Dharmathin Thalaivan’. I remember him looking down at me.

Soon after the shoot, Chandrasekhar (Vija’s father) brought him to me. Vijay said that he is interested in acting. I told him to study well. Then he advised me to enter the acting field.

Vijay grew up as an actor because of his own hard work. Soon he will enter politics. I find it very difficult to say that Vijay and I are competing. I have always been Vijay’s well-wisher,” said Rajinikanth.

Story told by Rajinikanth

In the company of birds, the crow will annoy everyone. Not so the Hawk. Even a crow can annoy a hawk. Then the hawk will fly higher without reacting to it. A crow cannot reach that height. When I say this, there will be posts on social media saying that I mean Innaya. There are no dogs that do not bark and tongues that do not curse. There is no place in our country that does not have both. We must get on with our work.

Only one superstar

With the success of the movie Leo, Vijay was promoted as a superstar. There was a difference of opinion not only among the fans but also among the actors. It was Vijay himself who ended that controversy. At the success of ‘Leo’ held on November 1, Vijay clarified that there is only one superstar, without mentioning Rajini’s name.

‘Puratchi Thalaivar’ is only one, ‘Nadikar Thilakam’ is only one, ‘Puratchi Kalainjar Captain’ is only one, ‘Ulakanayagan’ is only one, ‘Superstar’ is only one, similarly ‘Thala’ is only one. The position of Dalapati is under the Emperor. The Emperor will say, the Dalapati (General) will do. As far as I am concerned, the people are the emperor and I am the ruler under you,’ said Vijay. The actor also asked fans to stay away from toxic fan fights on social media.
